*Flashback* National History Museum Ice Skating

Another old post – I just don’t want to waste all the photos and memories gathered on my phone! Since Christmas hasn’t even happened yet, I feel that this post is still relevant enough to document, so here goes…

I went along to the opening of The National History Museum’s ice skating rink back in November, something so spectacular that my phone almost shut down as I attempted to take photos as fast as Rankin (unfortunately, not quite to his standard).

After you had whizzed around the rink, you could go up to the bar, warm your hands, rest your legs, drink champagne, eat cupcakes and admire the view from the balcony. Lindt chocolate were also there to spread festive cheer and hand out festive shaped treats.

At the end of the evening, I walked away feeling rather full, a tad cold and oh so happy – a goody bag with an almost human size Lindt golden bear was in my hands, and I held onto it like it was real gold all the way home.
